✏️ Reviewing @biooilmalaysia Dry Skin Gel
It’s not obvious on my face but I have bad eczema and allergies everywhere else. I have to spend a lot on dry skin creams and lotions for all seasons, even back in Malaysia. This will be my first time using @biooilusa , a brand that I’ve seen around @watsonsmy and @guardianmy
This @biooilmalaysia Dry Skin Gel is different from standard water-based creams / lotions; this gel is a pinkish, oil-based-gel with a 3% water formulation that allows the skin to stay moist longer.
I tried this gel for 3 nights in a row, using this product without any other creams. I let this gel soak overnight and here’s what I REALLY think
VERDICT:
💧as expected of a gel, it is slightly sticky at first but it glides on well and you don’t need much of it. You will definitely know and feel an extra layer on top of your skin for a while (approx. 20mins). However, compared to oils that I used, it absorbs faster into the skin and is more comfortable
🌹 it smells pleasant too! Citrusy and slightly floral, overall calming. For this, they seem to include plant-based oils like lavender, calendula, rosemary, lemon, etc.
💦 I applied this onto my arm, back of knees, my feet and hands after a good shower and before going to bed for 3 nights now and I woke up with smoother skin and the inflammation and flakiness had even reduced! I am pleasantly surprised because my skin is usually stubborn af and it would take me A WEEK to keep it calm again. At this rate, my bad skin will be fine again after Day 5
👍 I’m definitely going to choose this over oil-based skin serums! It’s stronger than normal creams, and I suggest using it on the problem areas and overnight, and stick to the water-based lotion/creams for a daily full-body coverage. I won’t use it in the morning or daytime
👍 this dry skin gel not a cure but it alleviate the symptoms of dry skin by giving that extra moisture
